All embroidered items will have a very, very soft backing behind the stitches, which makes the shirt incredibly comfortable to wear. It's called "cloud cover" and keeps scratchy stitches from ever touching sensitive skin. It also keeps the design stable, so that you won't get "warping" or wavy, misshapen design - even after many washes. You can easily customize this t-shirt or onesie with your child’s name, age or any other personalization. I love custom orders! This will protect sensitive skin from scratchy stitches, while protecting the fabric and embroidery stitches as well. Machine wash and dry inside out. Warm iron on the back of the fabric if desired.
